Brown the chicken drumsticks in the olive oil, over medium-high heat. Sprinkle with the spices, add the onion and leave it for 4-5 minutes to wilt. Season with salt and pepper and add the beer gradually. Reduce heat, otherwise the beer will overflow. Put the lid on and simmer for 30 minutes over medium heat. Remove the drumsticks, place them in a platter and let the sauce boil over high heat until it thickens. Serve with potato or vegetables mash.
